Facilities

As a member of the Guild, you have access to certain facilities, including:

  1. Regular meetings to catch up with all your "tatty" friend

  2. A regular newsletter which includes a pattern, information on upcoming events, reports on visits to places and exhibitions of interest, feedback on past events, book reviews, and a regular review of Internet Tatting sites

  3. Our growing library of books on Tatting, as well as a variety of associated handcrafts

  4. Tatting supplies from our Guild shop

  5. Access to the Guild's Facebook page

Where to find us
Generally, we can be found on the second Saturday every month at the Senior Citizens Hall, Laurence Grove, Ringwood East (Melways ref 50 B8).

This is very close to the Ringwood East railway Station, with Bus 367 from Ringwood Station stopping in the main street. The hall is behind the shops and is accessible through a lane way between some shops. It also has plenty of tables and chairs, toilets inside and disabled access.

Every other Saturday is a meeting day, with the guild shop open, library of books for borrowing, and a formally chaired meeting discussing guild business as part of the proceedings. The alternate Saturdays are just social “Tat'n'Chat” days, with no shop, library or meeting.

It's BYO lunch, but tea and biscuits are free.
